Dear Friends:
This year's Summer Fest was a smashing success and Mother Nature gave her full
cooperation! Our weather record has been pretty good so far. Out of 6 years, we had 3
years of sunshine, 1 year of mixed weather and 2 years of rain.
The first 2010 Summer Fest meeting was held on Monday, August 17, 2009 with the
following people present: Murriel Snelling, Gail Lawhorn & her husband (from the Tri
Town Trolley), Karen K (from Pollyanna), and myself. We had a great dinner meeting
at the Chang Thai Cafe in Littleton and an outline of Summer Fest 2010 was presented.
I am hoping that by Labor Day, a full schedule will be listed on this site. We have some
new things to add and a few of these things may not be confirmed until January 1, 2010.
Be assured that as soon as events are confirmed, they will be listed.
Please notice that we are taking pre-orders for 2010 T-Shirts and still have generic Tote
Bags available. I invite everyone to show their support by ordering their merchandise
early and wearing their T-shirt during Summer Fest events.
We will also be offering Summer Fest memberships, which will replace the former Dollar
Drive. Memberships will be $10.00 annually (or anything up to $49.00). Donations
above and beyond that amount will be considered sponsorships and be listed accordingly.
