Dear Friends:
So much has happened since my last letter to you!!
The sponsorships have started rolling in and I am pleased to announce that we have
gained the commitment of "The Notch" 106.3 WMTK FM as a Presenting Sponsor with
$2500 worth of advertising for our use. Time Warner Cable has joined forces with us
again this year with a sponsorship of $2500. This biggest news is that the Littleton Area
Chamber of Commerce has become a Partner with the Littleton Civic Booster Club to
assist with 2008 Summer Fest plans!!
Local businesses have contributed almost $1000 so far and the Summer Fest Challenge
has gained us $744 from local citizens.
We have put some new events on the drawing board for this year. They include a "Pet
Parade" section of the Gala Summer Fest Parade on June 21st, an antique car ride, a
Sunday morning Brunch, and a concert at Remich Park. Though still in the planning
stages, we hope to make these events reality this year!
AND . . . we will be holding Summer Fest in conjunction with the Littleton High School
Alumni Weekend. This should make the celebration bigger and better than ever!!
